PATRIC Now Has Over 15,000 Consistently Annotated Genomes!¶
New Genomes and Annotations
In the February 2014 data release, 1843 new genomes have been added to PATRIC, 1819 new genomes have been annotated using RAST, and 6 genomes have been updated.
A summary of the genomes available on the PATRIC website through January, 2014 is provided in the table below:

Genome Metadata
In addition to curating metadata for new genomes, we have incorporated additional metadata provided to PATRIC by the NIAID-funded Genome Sequencing Centers for total 413 bacterial genomes for pathogens such as Brucella, Clostridium, Enterococcus, Escherichia coli, Klebsiella, and Staphylococcus aureus.
