PATRIC December 2013 Data and Metadata Release¶
New Genomes and Annotations
In the December 2013 data release, 1967 new genomes have been added to PATRIC, 1997 new genomes have been annotated using RAST, and 217 genomes have been updated.
A summary of the genomes available on the PATRIC website through December, 2013 is provided in the table below:

Genome Metadata
In addition to curating metadata for new genomes, we have incorporated additional metadata provided to PATRIC by the NIAID-funded Genome Sequencing Centers for a total of 1184 bacterial genomes for pathogens such as Brucella, Escherichia coli, Enterococcus, Staphylococcus and Streptococcus.
Website Updates
The website updates include bug fixes, performance improvements to Protein Family sorter, Comparative Pathways, and Experiment Gene List pages, and a few minor feature enhancements.
